Wildlife Encounters: Marine Life Adventures – With our unique Sea Lion Encounter, you can go behind the scenes and interact with these charismatic animals. In approximately 30 minutes, you’ll enjoy an exclusive tour of the California Sea Lion Facility and a special educational presentation about the sea lions, then participate in an exciting sea lion training session with Georgia Aquarium’s own animal trainers. The Sea Lion Encounter offers exclusive, up-close and personal animal encounters with California sea lions while learning more about the aquarium’s rescue, research and conservation initiatives.
Due to the nature of animal care, the Georgia Aquarium reserves the right to change, cancel and/or reschedule programs without notice. Reasonable accommodations will be made to rebook guests as efficiently as possible.

CANCELLATION AND DATE CHANGE RULES: The program fee is non-refundable; however, the program will be rescheduled whenever possible. The aquarium will reschedule your meeting if more than 48 hours’ notice is given. A change fee of $20 per ticket will apply if notice is given within 14 days of the original reservation date. Cancellations and no-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Guests under 15 must be accompanied by an adult (1 adult per 3 minors required).
Guests 17 and under must have a program liability waiver signed and dated by a parent or court-appointed guardian.

Your total Penguin Encounter experience will last 30-45 minutes with 15 minutes inside Penguin Cove. For your safety and theirs, touching or feeding the penguins is not allowed.
