If you follow my blog or on Instagram, you know that we celebrated B’s 5th birthday with a trip to her favorite theme park. While I was originally a little sad to not have a birthday party to plan that sadness left as soon as we got there. It was the most amazing week. The only bad thing about going to the parks for a week straight is just how sore your feet get from all the steps. We took 15-20k steps per day. Now that we are annual pass holders and go on a regular basis, I wanted to share our tips for not only surviving, but actually enjoying a trip to a theme park.

I definitely don’t feel bad about bringing a snack or two for them because I know they are burning so much energy running around and playing.
Blankets are great to spread not only so you have somewhere to sit – but to “claim” your place and a place to keep your belongings.
